Wallet Photo

Wallet Photo puts a picture of someone you love in your Apple Wallet. It is built to know as little about you as possible.

What the app stores on your phone

The photos you choose, and the captions, notes, dates and places you add, are saved on your iPhone only. There are no accounts and no sign-in.

What leaves your phone

When you tap Add to Apple Wallet, the app sends the chosen photo and your text to our signing server, which renders the pass and signs it so that Wallet accepts it. The server does this in memory and returns the pass. It does not store the photo, the text, or anything about you. Hosting logs record only the request time and size, the way any web server does.

The finished pass lives in Apple Wallet on your phone. If you share a pass, that is between you and the person you send it to.

Places and dates

If you add a place or a date to a pass, that information is written into the pass itself so that Wallet can show it on your lock screen. The app does not track your location. Wallet does that locally, the way it does for any ticket or loyalty card.

What we do not do

No analytics, no advertising, no third-party trackers, no selling or sharing of data. The app does not collect data as defined by Apple's App Privacy questions.
